The Smokeburst and Koa Binding!!!!!!!!!

The Koa binding is on, set off by stealthy application of the natural smoke burst finish. The Ash back is grain-filled and toned with a smokey richness that is much darker than expected, but wholeheartedly amazing. The Mother of Pearl purfling outline on the top adds boundary to the wild Cocobolo crotch top figure. I cannot wait to see this baby!!!

Still Coming Together...

The body and neck (first one to the left) still yearning...to come together. And they shall!

THE BODY IS BEAUTIFUL, INSIDE AND OUT.

The Broken Wing continues to take form. The rough hewn burl conduit channels the ether of the Titans... the smokey broken wing cocobolo lays in permanent bondage to the Ashen Wheelhouse of howling harmonic heights of hallucination!!!!

The Header and Healer Leak

The Head and Heel speak volumes... of Burl-laden Bewilderment. Just sick.

TEAL FADE P24. SOMETIMES YOU JUST CAN'T SAY NO.

Here's a dealer shot of my incoming P24 Artist in Teal Fade. Indian Rosewood neck. 57/08 pickups. Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. Look at the insane stain job on this martyrforker. No words.

New sneak peak at the Broken Wing...

Paul's about to make another legend. Aging like fine wine in the PS department, the artisans are honing this chunk of bodacious glory into an axe of detuned, unfathomable awesomeness. The suspense is killing me.

Cherry Sugar Down Low...

Sometimes, you need to change it up a bit. Time for a Cherry Sugar JP12 coming from the Wild Wild West, customized in the lower registers by the GUN, sending it to the baritone levels of darkness (in the night).

Burl Headed Beast Electronics

The Beast hosts a bevy of card tricks in her tonal arsenal, thanks to the abundance of available coils, tapping and switching options grafted into her soul.

Here's a rundown of her specifications:

Neck pickup: Narrow 408
Middle pickup: Narrow 408
Bridge pickup: Treble 408
Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone and Piezo/Mag Blend; 5-way Blade selector (neck/neck-middle/middle/middle-bridge/bridge)
Switches: Individual Coil Taps for each humbucker (Neck and middle pickups split to the north; Bridge splits to the south); Piezo selector (On/Mix/Off)
Jacks: Magnetic out, Piezo out; battery box

This configuration allows for almost limitless tonal possibilities. Humbucking, single coil and mixed groupings are available across the entire pickup zone from Neck to Bridge using the 5-way blade switch and mini-switches to select which coils go to battle. The LR Baggs piezo system adds the sizzle and sparkle of the acoustic vibe. Shaken or stirred, any mix will prove potent!

Enjoy!

Here's some wood enjoying some morning sunshine!!!!

In the beginning there was….

Wood. It is to be Sported.

Look what Paul does with wood. He creates the swords of rock and roll. Even legends. And sometimes….Burl-Headed Beasts.
